Your contribution goes directly to rescuing, treating, and rehoming dogs in need. Sometimes it's used for urgent medical care, like life-saving surgery for an injured dog. Other times, it supports our bigger dreams, such as:

Building Spay Neuter Clinics to reduce the number of strays.
Feeding the growing number of animals in our care and on the streets.
Special Campaigns
We regularly run Special Campaigns for dogs in urgent need of medical treatment. These animals often come to us in heartbreaking conditions, injured, sick, malnourished, and sometimes barely hanging on. In many cases, our volunteers must act immediately, making quick decisions and mobilizing resources on the ground to ensure these dogs receive the life-saving care they need to survive.
These campaigns are vital. They provide the funding and support required for emergency surgeries, intensive treatments, and the ongoing care necessary for a full recovery.

Faces of Heartworm
Heartworm is a deadly parasite transmitted by mosquitoes, common in St. Lucia. Without treatment, it can kill a dog slowly and painfully. Treatment takes 2–3 months and is costly. Sadly, we receive new cases often.

Food for Dogs Program
Our shelter is over capacity, and feeding the dogs is becoming increasingly difficult. Strays on our feeding routes are multiplying, and donations to SLAPS are at an all-time low.
Sponsor a dog for just $25 CAD/USD per month and help provide life-sustaining food. You’ll even get to choose the dog you’d like to support.

🎯 Each draw supports a specific project or urgent case, so every ticket makes a direct impact.
50/50 Draws.
Our online 50/50 draws take place most long weekends, running from Friday evening through Monday at 11:59 p.m. Ticket's are $5 CAD, and half the proceeds go straight to helping shelter and stray dogs in St. Lucia—the other half goes to one lucky winner!
💸 Past winnings have exceeded $200 CAD, with one participant taking home $572.50 CAD!
