Being a non-profit organization that does not receive funding from any government or external agency, we rely solely on the kindness and generosity of folks just like you. Thank you to all those that have supported us in the past and "Thank You" for considering supporting us now!
We often have a specific purpose for your donations, like a certain injured dog requiring surgery, but also welcome donations to our dream goals. We hope to obtain a transport vehicle in St. Lucia and to build a spay and neuter clinic in order to spay and neuter as many dogs as possible to prevent unwanted litters of puppies.

There is no end to the need and every little bit helps. Thank you!
Heartworms are foot-long parasites that live in (and off) the heart and lungs of a dog. The parasites are transmitted by infected mosquitos and as you can imagine, there are a lot of them in St. Lucia. If left untreated, the heartworm will slowly kill the infected dog. Conventional treatment takes two to three months and is expensive.
Watch our social media for the unfortunate announcements that there is another dog in need of treatment.
We are at a record high number of dogs to feed in our shelter, and on the streets and beaches of St Lucia. The SLAPS shelter is over capacity. Donations directly to SLAPS are at an all time low and it's becoming very difficult to simply provide food. The strays on our feeding routes keep increasing with more abandoned dogs appearing on our beaches and streets. With a monthly contribution of $25 CAD/USD, you can choose the dog you would like to support. Please help feed our dogs!
Watch for raffle and contest announcements like our annual St. Lucia vacation raffle and lucrative long weekend 50/50 draws. These are major fundraisers for The Bruno Project and always have a targeted use for the money collected.
Donations are tax deductible through our 501(c)(3)!
